VLUTE Participated in the national vocational skills conference 2021

On the morning of June 28, 2021, in Hanoi, the General Department of Vocational Education and Training (GET) held the first Technical Conference and trained experts to compile the 12th National Vocational Skills Exam, 2021. The conference was held in the form of online.

Attending and chairing the conference were Assoc. Dr. Viet Huong Nguyen Thi – Deputy Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education and Training, head of the Examination Organizing Committee. On the side of Vinh Long University of Technology and Education (VLUTE), there were Assoc. Dr. Phi Cao Hung – Rector, Assoc. Dr. Ky Le Hong – Vice Rector and leaders of specialized faculties and lecturers participated in compiling exam questions. Along with the presence of representatives of leaders of the delegations participating in the exam; groups of experts who compile exam questions; representative leaders of companions, sponsors, and units that are expected to host the National Vocational Skills Competition in 2021.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Assoc. Dr. Viet Huong Nguyen Thi  emphasized “The exam questions of the National Vocational Skills Exam are not only highly classified, not only meeting the basic requirements of the contest but also having to anticipate the trend of technical qualifications, international skills. We cannot sit idly by while the world is moving and developing. This task rests on the shoulders of exam design experts.”

VLUTE attended with leaders and lecturers to compile the exam questions

VLUTE is honored to be the host to organize 14 occupations contest. According to Assoc. Dr. Kaohsiung Phi – Rector, with the achievement of 4th in the country at the 11th exam, along with the tradition of technical and technology training, especially always having students represent Vietnam to attend the exams. regional and world competition, the school believes that VLUTE will organize a successful exam for the participating delegations.

The 12th National Vocational Skills Competition in 2021 will be held from September 29 to October 4, 2021 with the aim of spreading the movement of vocational training, developing labor skills, honoring employees and value of vocational skills. At the same time, select excellent faces to represent Vietnam to participate in the ASEAN and world vocational skills competition.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, up to now, about 600 candidates have registered to compete in 35 occupations (29 official occupations, 6 performing professions). In which, 10 occupations are organized in the form of socialization. Out of 35 occupations, 11 are organized at the national level for the first time. These 11 occupations have not appeared at the Asean and world skills contest. Even some professions have not been formally trained and taught at vocational education institutions. This shows the anticipation of the trend of world skills and techniques. At the conference, the delegates also commented on the organization work in the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, prepared different scenarios including the online exam plan. occupations are eligible to organize online exams.
