Vinh Long University of Technical Education held the closing ceremony of the 12th National Vocational Skills Competition

Education & Training – On the afternoon of December 12, the National Examination Council No. 1 at Vinh Long University of Technology and Education held the closing ceremony of the 12th National Vocational Skills Exam, 2021.

The contest took place in 11 days (from December 2 to December 12), with the competition of 109 contestants from 14 groups with 11 occupations held online.

The exam achieves the very important goals of creating a playground for candidates to compete and choose the person with the best vocational skills to honor. The results of the exam are the basis for the General Department of Vocational Education and Training to select excellent candidates for training to participate in the World Vocational Skills Competition in 2022.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Assoc. Dr. Cao Hung Phi, Rector of Vinh Long University of Technical Education, Chairman of the National Examination Council No. 1 said: “The 12th National Vocational Skills Exam was held safely, successfully and with quality assurance. and achieve the set goals in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The exam ensures transparency, objectivity and fairness; cooperation, innovation, safety and security contribute to a successful vocational skills exam, especially in the context that Vietnam is actively renovating the quality of vocational skills exams”.

The highlight of this year’s exam is that the online exams are digitized and managed by Vnskills software built by Vinh Long University of Technical Education. For the first time taking the test on virtual machines, candidates can connect smoothly and take the test at many different points but still ensure safety, security and synchronization. The exam questions of each occupation approach the international standards and qualifications of the ASEAN and world vocational skills exams. Exam questions and candidates’ exams are managed and stored safely and securely on the VnSkills software system.

Exam administration and supervision of vocational skills exams has been strengthened and carefully prepared, especially with the supervision of A03 internal political security police and cyber security, high-tech crime prevention A05 ensuring absolute safety and security.

In addition, the exam boards ensure the requirements and strictly abide by the regulations on prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic. During the exam, no expert violated the exam regulations and ensured that the professional qualifications requirements were met.

The contestants, although different in their professions and locations.. but what they have in common is enthusiasm, effort, and best efforts to complete the exam. This year’s exam has spread strongly and penetrated to many ages and sections of society, so the exam has become richer and more colorful.
